There's a German mediabook release out that has all 3 films on Blu-ray.

      https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B07...pWQ0M3ge52715g

      It's really expensive.

I've been able to confirm with the label that they indeed received HD transfers for the 2nd and 3rd film. I was worried they'd use the same upscales that were released on BD in Taiwan a few years ago. Anyway, I'm not going to pick this set up. With those new HD transfers existing, here'll probably be a Scream Factory release with new extras and both sequels on one disc for $20 in the near future and I'd rather wait for that.

Now that the above-pictured box set has sold out, NSM is releasing the three films separately on May 30th:

Not much cheaper if you want all three, actually.

Do these films really hold up. I've never seen any of them. For some reason, they always make me think of Twilight and that's not a good thing, but I suspect that I may be missing out on something rather good.

The first one is really good, a unique and interesting take on werewolves. The second is basically a scene-for-scene rehash of the first, and the third is horrid low-budget tripe that has the look and feel of a CBC afterschool special.

Darcy is right. First is fucking great. 3 is tripe.

                        This is not true.

Why would anybody watch a scum show like Videodrome? Why did you watch it, Max?

It was a huge case of a retread sequel. Bridget goes through everything Ginger did in the first movie, pretty much the same way. It was a totally redundant film.

Yeah, it's been a while, but I remember 2 as being quite different and interesting. 3 had so much potential, but failed hard.
