Off topic, but is that a Veronica Lake avatar, Nabonga? In color no less. Nice one.

This one is a must buy. I'm amazed they got it through uncut though. There's some really explicit stuff in there.

That trailer definitely looks and sounds pretty good to me. I'm surprised Youtube hasn't pulled it yet though.:p

It's the kind of film that benefits from looking like it was found in a garbage can behind a fleabag motel.

I saw Bloodsucking Freaks last year, projected from a 35mm copy. One of the best cinema experiences I've ever had. Sleaze drippnig from the print. This blu-ray looks a bit too clean, if you know what I mean :)

I'm a little surprised that they didn't exploit Roth's name on the packaging saying "WITH COMMENTARY BY THE DIRECTOR OF HOSTEL, CABIN FEVER, AND THE BEAR JEW HIMSELF!"

I think the Troma DVD's transfer was taken from a VHS or Beta source.

Ha, they certainly know how to sell it. Glad to see it made it through uncut, though it would certainly would have been a significant step back if the BBFC had demanded trims.
I'm curious to know what elements they're using for the HD transfer. Bloodsucking Freaks has always looked pretty grotty, though that's partially because Troma's been recycling the same ancient master for decades. I'm not really sure what sort of materials I should expect to be available for a film like that.
