  • 50 Cent, Nicholas Cage & John Cusack - The Frozen Ground

Man, they pulled no punches and really got the fuggen' dream team to sign on for this one, am I right?

"Alaskan detective Glenn Flothe (Cage) sets out to end the murderous rampage of Robert Hansen (Cusack), a serial killer who has gone unnoticed for 13 years. As the bodies of street girls start to add up in Anchorage, fear strikes a chord with the public. Risking his life, Detective Flothe goes on a personal manhunt to find the killer before the next body surfaces. When a seventeen year old escapee reveals key information about the case, Flothe is finally able to trail the killer. But will he catch him in time to save the next victim?"

I read about this on IMDB a while ago and thought "Could be an ok B-Movie", but now when I see that fucking 50 cent = the worst actor EVER is in it, I will skip this.

Seriously 50 cent ruins every film he is in. I mean if LL Cool J, Ice Cube and Will Smith can be bothered to learn how to act before actually acting, then so can fucking 50 cents, but apparently he is either to retarded or lazy to do any actual acting.

I have seen this, and it did not suck. In fact, it was a solid by the numbers serial killer flick with a nice sleazy alaskan setting. Cage did not overact, but was rather good. Cusack was underused and 50 Cent was only in a couple of scenes.

Also, Cages character in the film is Jack Holcombe, not Glenn whatever.

I Think I may be the only R!S!P! user that will ever watch this, am I correct in that assumption?

No, incorrect. I'm up for it.

I actually like Cage when he's not trying to project to the cheap seats.

Yes, I agree. Cage when he goes subtle is a good actor. Shame really that he overacts so much as he does...
