Like I said...some interesting names in there...but the average running length of the movies is probably what, 5 minutes?

And well done Noburo Iguchi. for bringing the tone down to his level...That man is CONSISTENT at least!!

VHS didn't look very good, so I did not watch that one. And I don't want to spoil this one but I will say this: The better shorts tended to have subtitles. Except for the W short (I do not want to give that one away) and it's a fun experimental romp. Obviously you can't take this too seriously and expect something rich in character development and dread for a series of 5 minute shorts but it's fun, has great effects, and most importantly it's radically different from what we're usually offered.

I've been meaning to catch this for the longest time but never got around to it. I've always heard that Timo Tjahjanto's "L is for Libido" short is the most extreme & the one to watch in this anthology. Timo's cut used to be up on Vimeo but got taken down.

As with all anthologies...they are kind of hit and miss.....But the bonus is there is something for EVERYONE in there......

Because there are so many different directors involved, they all have a different style and take....some go funny, some weird, some violent...some dumb....

Everyone will have their personal faves.....but I seemed to like the foreign language ones a lot more than the English ones.....

The five minutes for each was different too...some seemed to be over quick...while others dragged....

Overall, worth a watch.....They are currently doing PART 2 I read......
