  • 31 Days of Horror 2023 Amityville Outhouse

Figured we ain't that far from October 1st.

Got 30 of my 31 films picked out.

Mixture of dvd,blu ray and streaming. And might have one 4k in the mix.

    So who else is in?

And if there really is an Amityville Outhouse I would watch it.

I'm in. I definitely don't have 31 films picked out but I'm prepared to fly by the seat of my pants on this one. I don't watch enough straight up horror and so I'm looking forward to doing a bit of a catch up.

I'm in. Every month is October or me as at least 75% of what I watch is horror. Not sure I'll hit 31 films this time or not (football season).

I'm definitely in. Been looking forward to putting real life responsibilities aside and launching into an anti-social horror marathon for months now. I don't tend to watch much gloomy old gothic horror type stuff during the summer, so it's been piling up a bit.

Only from 1st October though, mind. Will be busy with proper work / human interaction type obligations until then.

Yea i have noticed the ffootball talk has started back up. Sometimes feels like my house is one of the few in the deep south that hasn't watched a full football game in 30+ years.

I'd normally be in but I've started getting back into my XBOX (HITMAN) so a daily horror flick might be difficult.

Time for another attempt at 93 movies in October even though I'm sure I won't make it!

Damn, I thought my record was less than 93 but I just went back to last year and it turns out I did 111. I should be shooting for 124... lol

It's odd when I was working 50 hours a week I got more watched. But having a job where I sat in my office for 80% of the shift and having a TV and dvdd player in that office helped.

I don't know... looks pretty ropey:

I want to see it now. Starting a few days early with some Dollar Tree Junk we found.

                          Wolves-Ketchup Entertainment DVD

So we both have a bad habit of any dvd/blu ray we find for 2 bucks or under and is a horror film,we will grab it. Which means at my place I got a few big stacks of unwatched modern horror junk. And under her coffee table is aboout 30 of them too.

This feels like someone saw that the MTV Teen Wolf show was semi popular with people and rounded up a low budget to make a rip off.

Kind of surprisingly the transformation scenes aren't pure CIG. Lots of cut aways and camera tricks but practical.

Acting is ok. Only people I knew was Jason Momoa and Stephen McHattie.

Worth the $1.25 one of us paid for this from Dollar Tree. But not worth the time it took for me to rip the dvd and put that rip on our Plex server.

                          Wolves gets a D+.

Why would anybody watch a scum show like Videodrome? Why did you watch it, Max?

Hour and a half and boom HALLOWEEN SEASON.

As normal I have no theme this year. But as normal will post links to a buddy's reviews. His theme this year is Universal Horror. He had covered some of old Universal Classics years ago and wanted to touch them up some.

Unless it changes my first film is the 4th film in the franchise and my second favorite in the franchise. Could be subtitled Irish Midget in Space or Hey Corman remade Aliens 2 many times why can't we.
