The release date makes me think this will likely show at BeyondFest immediately before, possibly even as the closer of the festival.

Place your bets on how bloated this fucker'll be.
I'm bitter, I'm twisted, James Joyce is fucking my sister.

Hopefully very bloated. Last I heard was just over two hours.

It did indeed play at BeyondFest, but not as the closer. The crowd was a tad rowdy but not *nearly* what I expected, nor anything approaching the crowd at Devara Pt. 1 (pseudo spiritual follow-up to RRR).

It's just about 125mins. And plays like it. Only problem is that there aren't nearly enough new elements to justify that length.

The best scenes (for me) weren't the kills. There's a bar scene with Daniel Roebuck (as a Santa) and <unnamed actor> that is so, so good that it reset my "this is meh" meter. The shower scene is both clutch and (likely) destined to be a classic of sorts. And there is some *deeply* disturbing humor that I was shocked the MPA allowed.

If you liked the first 2, or even just the second, give it a dance. It won't blow your mind but it's absolutely worth seeing with a crowd. Reasonable expectations are key.

Don’t care much for these movies but I’m seeing Terrifier 3 on Monday for whatever fucking reason.

She loved the first one. So We got the second one when it hit blu ray. She loved it I was more meh about it. Odds are when part 3 hits blu ray she will grab it make me watch it.

Oddly I'm the gorehound out of the two of us.

I know how you feel. My wife likes these a lot more than I do. I enjoy them enough but don't think they're that special.

Yea it is odd. I want some gore movie and she is covering her eyes until the gore is done. But have a clown doing the gory stuff and she is all in.

So if this matches projections (which it already seems to be exceeding) will Terrifier 3 be the first unrated movie to hit #1 at the US box office since the '60s?!

Edit: I gather there was some sort of Beyonce movie, and it was unrated.
