Still waiting for my order of TERRIFIER. I blame this forum for the lack of stock, haha.

Watched TERRIFIER, it is on the edge of being too much for me. Seriously graphic and gory. Yet I thought it was a terrific film. Something you might need to be a bit lubricated to get through, haha.

Yeah, as I was watching Terrifier, I kept wondering to myself, "Am I basic for liking this?" I'm still not sure.

Watched the second one last night. It's an hour too long, like the first one, not much of a story - but I liked it better than the first one, even if I had to pause 90 minutes in to have a nap. Good gore and lots of it though I don't think anything in this second film topped the nastiest of the set pieces in the first movie. Streamed it on Screambox, assume it was uncut?

The guy who plays Art is great. The character looks creepy as fuck and his movements and physical acting really bring that home. The rest of the acting was meh for the most part. But it entertainment me, even if I kept checking to see how much time was left. Why the hell was this two and a half hours? That dream sequence where they sang about the clown cafe went on way too long and made me angry.

Looking forward to checking out All Hallow's Eve next.

The more these two films have sunken into my brain the more I think I legitimately liked them and could even see myself revisiting them. We may have to buy the first one again, haha. We have the second on pre-order. Love the character.

I need to rewatch the first one, it didn't do much for me. The running time of the second sounds like utter indulgence, I find myself questioning horror films that go much past 90 minutes these days.
I'm bitter, I'm twisted, James Joyce is fucking my sister.

I agree the actor who plays Art is really good. The look is very unsettling. The second one is 2 and half hours? Holy shit that is ridiculous.

I just found out yesterday that they guy who plays Art The Clown lives a couple of miles away and shops at the same comic store I go to, which inevitably means that the next time I see a tall, lanky guy there I'm going to assume it's him and probably embarrass myself by asking and finding out it isn't.

Hopefully he wears a clown suit in real life.
