I thought that this was a pretty decent film and an interesting title for Friedkin to get behind, but it's definitely not something I have the urge to watch again haha.

Last I heard (this was a long time ago) Friedkin was trying to get a western with Tracy Letts (who he obviously adapted for both Bug and Killer Joe). Maybe he's retired.
