      don't get too excited, it's just decent.

      I don't know about ti west... there is always some weird thing in his movies that sticks out to me like a sore thumb. this one seems to be more interested in gerontophilia at times, than successfully copying the texas chainsaw massacre.

        The plot is entirely cursory. All of the effort was expended on the smirking depiction of period details from the lives of lower-class people. People drove vans, smoked cigarettes and watched tube TVs. What was the long scene in the grocery store section of the gas station all about? Wonder Bread and Cheri Magazine. Things from 1979. So what?
