I'm still waiting to hear if this "brand new" HD transfer is truly "brand new" or the same new HD transfer the Germans used. I've asked, but there's been no answer.

Pretty sure Society was the same master as the German release, so this will no doubt be the same.

This limited edition has to have the worst exclusives. I imagine that the comic will be just as awful as the one in the Society limited edition and who the hell wants the r-rated cut of this film?

The German Capelight BD release of BRIDE... was not too bad, I thought, other than the shonky audio track.

I think they're including it because it really is a brilliantly re-edited version. One of the most flawless I've ever seen. No choppy edits at all; the gorier shots were replaced with tamer or alternate shots.

They expect us to believe they've sold 8,000 worldwide in 2 months?

Going in and out of stock at Amazon, so Amazon are getting new stock from somewhere.

Smells to me of a fake attempt to create an "OOP" sales frenzy, they probably realised they pressed way too many. Anyway, their ploy backfired as I genuinely thought it had sold out so I bought the German version (which is identical except for the booklet).

Funny business going on with Arrow's release of Bride. Arrow claim its "sold out" with them.

Arrow only sells UK releases directly. Arrow doesn't directly sell its US releases at all (I believe MVD is the US distributor). I read Arrow's statement to mean that the remainder of the copies were in the hands of retailers and distributors, but that they no longer had any copies to sell themselves.

Well, its unavailable ANYWHERE in the UK EXCEPT through Amazon. I guess they have done kind of tie up deal to make Amazon the sole supplier, with full control of market monopolisation and price gouging. The fact they are still selling it at £17.99 means they have a LOT Of copies on hand. Watch as the numbers dwindle their price will sky rocket. Must have something to do with Arrow doing some kind of deal to make them the digital distributor of their product as well (Bride of Reanimator launching via Amazon digital May 5th)...Definitely some kind of shady false "oop" thing going on..

The German 3 disc L.E. currently selling cheaper at Amazon.de, 15 euros, or £11 roughly. No comic book though.

It's in 'proper' shops too - at least, those that are still left. My local HMV had two copies in stock earlier this week, both priced at £17.99.
