I was very impressed with Scorpion's DEATH SHIP Blu transfer.

Any further word on the DAY OF THE ANIMALS and GRIZZLY BDs?

I am working on creating new 5.1 mixes on both titles, as DAY OF THE ANIMALS had a 3 track mag, and GRIZZLY had a ME track, so I figured these two classics deserve a good 5.1 mix, along with the original mono mix.

Also, ANIMALS will have a isolated music only track.

So what this means is I am going to move the BluRay release THE UNSEEN and MONSTER CLUB ahead of these two.

              • Oh, The Unseen is coming to BluRay? That's awesome! Unsure if I'll upgrade, but that rocks! Maybe Night Warning will come if some Code Red titles are fair game.

There are quite a few titles here that CR passed on that Scorpion picked up, like Celia & Humongous. Perhaps Fatal Games or Evil Judgment will make an appearance. Ah, wishful thinking.

Can't wait to pick up The Incubus and eventually, Human Experiments! Keep on truckin'.

                • Excellent news! Looking forward to those releases even more so now. Good on ya Walter for putting so much effort into these releases, you're doing the lords work putting these films onto Blu.

Hope this means more OOP or languishing Code Red titles can be released under your Scorpion label.

I'm a huge Walter/Scorpion fan and heavily support the company. Will be picking these up as they become available.

                      • Just posted on their FB page:

"Here is the front art for our newest title, the one I mentioned last week! Saw this in the theaters back in 1976, then again as a second feature to FADE TO BLACK in 1980, then on Showtime After Hours in '81, and always loved it (and to see David McCallum looking like he wandered off a different movie).

This will be out on both BD and DVD, probably after the release of DAY OF THE ANIMALS and GRIZZLY!"

                        • I don't like DOGS much, when I'm in the mood for a pooch horror THE PACK scratches my itch. Nevertheless, it's good to see them releasing an obscurity like this.
I don't go to church. Kneeling bags my nylons.

                            It's Scorpion. It's Walter.

                            I'll buy it.

                            • I just discovered the film Mary, Mary, Bloody Mary (1975).

It's beautiful, a sort of Vampire Slasher, somewhat artsy and absolutely alluring.
I think that it'd be perfect as a Katarina title.
