Eric Red tweeted that a Blu-ray of The Hitcher will be announced soon. He obviously didn't say who is releasing it, but it is nice to know it is in the works.

A source who has submitted an extra for the upcoming release of 1986's The Hitcher tells me its Second Sight and not Arrow who will be putting it out.

The source is Mike White of the The Projection Booth, who mentioned that Second Sight contacted him about including their The Hitcher episode as an extra.
