  • Halloween 2018 - Another Halloween Remake!

Looks like we arent getting that Halloween reboot in 2017 after all....

    But....this is being made instead....

Carpenter himself, who is creatively involved in the making of the film, just took to Facebook to announce that David Gordon Green (Pineapple Express) and Danny McBride (“Eastbound & Down”) have joined the Miramax, Trancas International Films and Blumhouse production. Gordon Green will direct from a screenplay penned by he and McBride.

The new Halloween is coming on October 19th, 2018.
Even though Carpenter himself is involved this is a strange turn of events...especially Danny McBrides involvement..

    Another Halloween Reboot

So this is apparently ok'd by Carpenter?

Danny McBride and David Gordon Greene are behind it, JC is producing.

They're claiming it'll be 'straight up horror' but I guess we'll see.

“You know, it's not a remake…It's gonna continue the story of Michael Myers in a really grounded way. And for our mythology, we're focusing mainly on the first two movies and what that sets up and then where the story can go from there.”

I already started a thread in disbelief at this..

        http://www.rockshockpop.com/forums/s...Halloween-2018.

Unless they are both hiding a DEEP love of the original that will help them overco e their lack of experience in making a jorror fipm..this looks like itnwont turn iut very well...

Arghh..unless they plan to remould it into a action/horror/comedy like they are doing with CHIPS and BAYWATCH..

Danny McBride says that they're going to make Michael Myers scary again.

Pretty small reboots to fill here, really.

More promising than the Zombie bores.

I thought the Rob Zombie flicks were fine. Better than parts 5, 6, 7, and 8. Plus we got to see Daniel Harris' titties.

And all this time I thought those were two strategically placed mosquito bites.

Nice to see I'm not the only one that likes the 2 Zombiweens. Personally I prefer the remake of Halloween 2 over the original Halloween 2.

Me too. It's a flawed film, but it has lots of interesting ideas and some amazing set-pieces. Rick Rosenthal's movie is just a typical slasher flick.
Why would anybody watch a scum show like Videodrome? Why did you watch it, Max?
