Stone Cold Classic! Don't have the previous Blu's and only have the 2001 DVD, so no time better than now for a replacement. Any word on what they mean by 'Restored'? Or is that just a pizazz word to spice this up so people can buy the film again?

I have the earlier blu, and it's probably not going to blow anyone's mind, but I like the transfer. The extras sound similar, but without checking...well, I could be wrong.

What a shame. Preorder cancelled. I'll stick to the earlier release, as imperfect as it may be.

What the hell is wrong with those idiots at Universal? Spend all the money and time on a 6K scan of the negative and then blast it with DNR. Awful.

It is so frustrating. A couple years back, at the Home Theater Forum, Robert Harris said that a new regime was in at Universal and that these DNR fuck ups were going to be a thing of the past. And until this, it looked like he was right.
