All over Aliens on 4K. I have no use for the DC, but love the theatrical.

Thinking if I need to upgrade my Alien movies... Probably not...3 and 4 I flat out don't care for. One is a masterpiece of design but dear god it's ponderous. Probably an every 5 years or so movie for me and I watched it a few months ago. Aliens is the keeper but my girl doesn't like monster movies (not even The Thing. I know...) so how much opportunity am I actually going to get to watch it.
Plus the Cameron thing of keeping the tension and action ratcheted for the last hour and a half of a film I may have grown out of. It's his signature as a director, and I used to love it, but being an old fucker I tend to want to relax into my seat a bit these days."Never let the fact that they are doing it wrong stop you from doing it right." Hyman Mandell.

At the time of release the Alien(s) boxsets, VHS, DVD and then Blu-ray were the crown jewels of my collection. We are overdue for a UHD boxset. And I don't need any more special features unless they want to give a less teal version or a way to add the Sentry Guns scene into the Theatrical cut.
