Great news! Shout will do a fantastic job!

Also wasn't there some tease a little while back that Crash was coming out again from Criterion? Would love to see that hit Blu here in the US at some point.

Hold the presses! Don't quote me on it, although I thought this was in one of the tease illustrations or hinted at from somewhere. Or I could just be mixed up with another flick. Was hoping someone knew more who possibly could chime in on this. Derrick, maybe?

The only rumor I can remember sprung up a few years ago when The Wall Street Journal's website had a video about controversial Cannes films and the clip for CRASH was credited to Criterion, but that seems to be that they either used Criterion's laserdisc for the clip or just made a mistake. Since Criterion has licensed a pretty big batch of titles from WB, I think that CRASH is one of them, but it is just speculation at this point.

Rewatched this on Saturday for the first time since the Shout! Factory Blu-ray came out. It really is an excellent movie, Irons is so good here but this time around I really appreciated Genevieve Bujold just as much - she's excellent here.
