Now that's a poster. Streetwalkin' is another inner city thriller set in the glorious NYC grindhouse scene replete with numerous billboards, theaters, and nostalgia for those of us who want to visit the 70's/80's NYC Grindhouses but forget about the constant threats of muggings, rapes, murders, and possibility of white slavery.

Plot is about a young girl (Melissa Leo) and her younger teenage brother being kicked out of their home by an abusive mother, girl is seduced by a pimp (Dale Midkiff) and gets her on her feet... By being a prostitute working for him. Despite this, things are going well but things take a turn. No spoilers for me.

Great film. Worth owning as not just as an entertaining film but it's a great time capsule picture which adds to the appeal. Would make a good double feature with Basket Case.

I remember it being a lot of fun and, of course, the locale was super cool!
