Not Lee's best picture by a wide margin but it's his birthday and the UK's Screenbound Entertainment have said...
"In honour of what would have been Sir Christopher Lee's 94th birthday today, I am pleased to announce that the underrated horror slasher, Funnyman, directed by Simon Sprackling, is going in for a 2k restoration and will be released on Blu-ray either before Christmas or early in the New Year."
I have the old Subversive Cinema (RIP!) DVD and don't know that I'll need to upgrade immediately but for those who dig the movie, it's getting what will probably be a pretty respectful HD release.
