No details yet. I'm guessing it's UK only since Shout have a BD out in the US. I like this film and have yet to upgrade it to HD, so this will be mine.

Kind of an evil way to announce it: first as a rather obvious April Fool's joke, and then, later, admitting that it is true after all (it just won't come in the announced "special" packaging).
I will most likely update the BD from Shout, probably once it becomes available in one of their sales, as Arrow tend to have better compression than Shout, and it is one of my favorite slashers.

Was considering this when I thought it would have an improved transfer to the Scream Factory one. I don't see any mention of a new scan, so I'm assuming that means the transfer is the same.
Only added features are:
Brand new audio commentary with The Hysteria Continues
Brand new interview with composer Rick Wakeman
If that is true, I might just but the Scream version instead.

Non-steelbook reissue coming in Dec.
NEW UK TITLE ANNOUNCEMENT: The Burning Dual Format Blu-ray & DVD
Ready to reclaim its place as the ultimate summer camp nightmare.
Pre-order your copy direct here: http://bit.ly/2cIrWo1
IT WILL TAKE YOU FURTHER THAN FEAR.
Of all the many slice-and-dice films that emerged in the early '80s, few remain as gruesomely effective as The Burning - the notorious “video nasty†now finally unleashed on Blu-ray!
When an ill-advised prank misfires, summer camp caretaker Cropsy is committed to hospital with hideous burns. Released after five years, hospital officials warn him not to blame the young campers who caused his disfigurement. But no sooner is Cropsy back on the streets than he's headed back to camp with a rusty pair of shears in hand, determined to exact his bloody revenge.
With standout gore effects courtesy of FX legend Tom Savini, The Burning proved too shocking for UK censors upon its original video release. Now, fully uncut and in High Definition, The Burning is ready to reclaim its place as the ultimate summer camp nightmare.

For what it's worth, I've just completed a review of this disc which contains, at the bottom of the page, a visual comparison with the Shout! Factory Blu-ray release. Not a great deal of difference between the two releases, to be honest, though the Arrow release has a nicer range of special features: http://www.dvdcompare.net/review.php?rid=4459
