I'm getting more and more excited for mine to arrive. Other films that would fit well with this series - Lemora, Let's Scare Jessica to Death, Alice Sweet Alice. The Redeemer and Messiah of Evil would work, but those are already out via Code Red.Comment

Im hesitating to buy a few titles on DVD as they seem like the sort of thing that would be on a Vol 2.

BLACK CHRISTMAS (1974) - this really needs a better Blu. Are there no 35mm prints around that could be used?
MURDER BY DECREE (1979) - another Bob Clark. Unsure whether this would be out of place in a horror set as ive never seen it.Comment

I think an uncut version of Warlock Moon would be great for this series, the old Media Blasters DVD was missing quite a bit of the movie, even in the corrected DVD, it still was missing some scenes. Also I agree about Let's Scare Jessica To Death, great movie, should be released in a Volume 2, Sisters of Death, I like that one too, it would be a good release. I can't wait for Lemora Lady Dracula from Synapse, I love that movie, it will look gorgeous on blu ray, I didn't know Synapse had announced it for blu ray, I will definitely pick it up, it's one of my favorite movies from the 70's, kind of wish Arrow could include it in a volume 2 boxset, but Synapse will do a good job on it as well. Would also like Death Game with Sondra Locke to be released in a volume 2 boxset by ArrowComment

So there's often extensive detective work involved, both in locating the rights holders as well as suitable source materials - and in some cases these are few and far between. Stephen Thrower, whose book Nightmare USA really planted the seed for the whole project, has been a principal participant in the whole process, and his contacts within the independent/underground horror/grindhouse world have been one of the essential things that has made the project work so well."
