  • Bleeding Skull Releasing Night Feeder!

"Coming soon on DVD, VHS, and VOD from BLEEDING SKULL! VIDEO and Mondo Video!

Specializing in ultra-obscure, no-budget horror and exploitation movies from the 1980s and early 1990s, BLEEDING SKULL! VIDEO is dedicated to sharing unreleased (or barely released) movies with the world.

Fear chokes the free-wheeling underbelly of San Francisco's punk scene as a killer stalks the night to feed an unspeakable appetite. Community suspicion focuses on Disease, a band that is tainted by groupie deaths allegedly induced by the drug DZS, and on "The Creeper," a misshapen outcast from the bowels of the city. A writer probes the gruesome murders and the story hits close to home, as the web of death devours neighbors, friends, and lovers. Dementia! Disease! DZS! DEATH!!

Shot in San Francisco by filmmakers James Gillerman, JoAnn Gillerman, and Jim Whiteaker, NIGHT FEEDER was briefly released on VHS in Poland before disappearing completely. An important and crucial missing link in shot-on-video horror history, NIGHT FEEDER makes its North American home video debut with BLEEDING SKULL! VIDEO.

    Director: Jim Whiteaker
    90 minutes / 1988 / Color"

Did you finish it? I still feel like I need to own this, even if it's underwhelming.

Over a year and a half later and I decided to give this another day in court, and actually warmed up to it this time. So much so that I just placed an order for it. And with a bit of detective work, I figured out that the hottie (who isn't listed amongst the four cast members on IMDb), is Lissa Zappardino. She played the wife of James Hong in The Vineyard (1989), and that was basically it. She shows her titty balls in the opening of that one.

I wound up buying the DVD and enjoyed it enough. Not quite as zany as I had hoped for but zany enough in spots.

I think it's pretty damn good. It's not a "so-bad-its-good" type, but an ambitious and - dare I say - stylish SOV flick.
Why would anybody watch a scum show like Videodrome? Why did you watch it, Max?
