Thank God. The old one is so fucking old. A necessary movie, this new one. When will they re-imagine Iron Man? The kids can't relate.

Yeah. Made ten years ago? It might as well be in black and white. And it's not in 3D! What's the point of watching it if it's not in 3D?

I hope they announce a reboot of SPIDER-MAN. I mean, that's a series that's in dire need of a reboot. And a remake of THE AVENGERS with a younger cast. The cast of the last film were all over 25. They might as well be drawing their pensions.

I have no interest in these but hundreds of millions do so it's interesting watching the way they market them. This ones going for EPIC (capitals heavily implied by the trailer). Don't expect to have fun here because this shit matters! I'm banking on disappointing box office. I think the proles want fun superheroes. They loved Guardians Of The Galaxy but not Superman Lives which was also very keen to let you know that it Mattered. Been wrong before though.

I'll watch this if you all pool together and give me $1000. Otherwise, I will pass.

571 members makes $1.75 each. I'm up for that.

Because it, and the X-Men, is all Fox has. (Just like all Sony has is Spider-Man.) Fox has to make a film using the characters every few years or the rights go back to Disney/Marvel and since WB isn't licensing them any DC characters and Disney isn't licensing them anymore Marvel characters, they will continue rebooting these franchises until the superhero genre crashes and burns.

I would seriously much rather watch Corman's goofy ass 1994 film again than this overly serious junk.

And speaking of not even pretending to wait until the corpse is cold anymore, I read recently that a CABIN FEVER remake is on the burner.

                        Ah...now it makes more sense....

Can see they are definitely going for an AVENGERS copy of a movie...Maybe it will do well...who knows?

Same here, this just looks awful. Superhero movies should be a fun colorful good time, that's what made the first two Superman movies so great and the Marvel films are entertaining because they strike just the right balance between having fun and sucking you into the action., there's no dour colors or overly serious bullshit going on.

From here on out I will call it The Fantastic Bore

It'd be nice if they'd go after some superheros from other companies, but much like the comics biz, it seems that it is DC or Marvel.

I don't know if I'd go so far as to say all superhero movies should be fun and colorful, but The Fantastic Four should be fun and colorful.

I accidentally flicked on the tv last week and the first one was on .....It confused me that Captain America now possessed the ability to control fire and crack unfunny wisecracks....so much so that I had to turn it off...

I think he made a good Captain America...but surely they could have got someone else just not to confuse things!!
