  • You know, there's not been enough Charles Bronson lately...

    ... and to remedy this:

Can anyone find that other behind the scenes clip of Bronson on the set of SOMEONE BEHIND THE DOOR?

Think I'll upgrade my DVDs of DEATH WISH, DEATH WISH 3 and DEATH WISH 4 on Blu. (I'll wait for an uncut release of the second film, I think.)

What I'd give for a boxset of some of Bronson's Cannon pictures on Blu-ray! That would be something special.

I own every Charles Bronson film ever released on DVD in this country. One of them I was forced to pay $60 for as it was out of print. And I don't even rate him in my top 3 cannon actor list!

But like Paulie I would give a lot for a complete Cannon Blu-box. Not just of Bronson though. If they did one for Dudikoff and Chuck Norris to I would be in heaven!

Agreed with this. Would love for a Cannon action boxset :)

The Swede is not selfish or greedy. Of course he would fund a commercial release for everyone to get!

You say that NOW...but money changes people....

Dont want you buying up all the rights to CANNON, storing the flicks in your own private collection...then taunting us on here!!!

Then we would have to send Ian and Paul L in to perform a Bodie and Doyle style retrieval of the prints....

The word on the street is that's where the Cannon prints are stored...

I live in a second floor sauna, that I bought believing it was an apartment. Unbearably hot in the summer, unbearably cold in the winter, and filled to the brim with billy bookshelves full of DVDs.

Yes, live a ife worth envying....

I revisited MESSENGER OF DEATH on Blu over the summer and enjoyed that immensely. I hadn't seen it in a decade or so. I showed it to the wife too; she hadn't seen it before and liked it a lot.

I've bought KINJITE on BD recently (hence the avatar) and have 10 TO MIDNIGHT and ASSASSINATION on Blu winging their way to me. Again, it's been a long time since I've watched any of these.

I never picked up that German BD of THE MECHANIC but I might order it. One Bronson film I'd like to see on Blu is THE EVIL THAT MEN DO.

I rewatched 10 TO MIDNIGHT this evening for the first time in a decade or more. It's a strange, but entertaining film that veers all over the place - from street action to courtroom scenes. The marriage of the stories surrounding Richard Speck and Ted Bundy is unsettling, and in light of this the ending is a strong piece of wish fulfillment (didn't the posters quote Bronson's line 'do what's right, not what's legal'?)

Plus, this one starts that weird motif in Bronson's 1980s movies of the actor whipping out a sex toy. ('Did you ever see one of these before? What's it used for? It's for jacking off, isn't it!'
