  • The Wachowskis' Jupiter Ascending

"Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis star in "Jupiter Ascending," an original science fiction epic adventure from filmmakers Lana and Andy Wachowski (The Matrix).

Jupiter Jones (Kunis) was born under a night sky, with signs predicting that she was destined for great things. Now grown, Jupiter dreams of the stars but wakes up to the cold reality of a job cleaning other people's houses and an endless run of bad breaks. Only when Caine (Tatum), a genetically engineered ex-military hunter, arrives on Earth to track her down does Jupiter begin to glimpse the fate that has been waiting for her all along—her genetic signature marks her as next in line for an extraordinary inheritance that could alter the balance of the cosmos."

You cant fault their ambitions...or their imaginations!!!

Not sure who keeps giving them money to make movies though....How long can they live off the MATRIX fame???

Cloud Atlas, Speed Racer..not exactly big money makers...

Loved BOUND though at the time though...Great movie

It's kinda weird that they went from hyper sexualized noir like Bound into basically a career making fantasy/sci-fi stuff. I'd like to see them do something in the vein of Bound again, I think it's their best film.

So, she's Neo and Channing Tatum is Agent Smith? Can't be any worse than the Matrix sequels.

The trailer made me get excited, then dissapointed, then somewhat excited again Before finally going WTF. In 2 minutes 30 seconds that is pretty damn impressive.

I actually enjoyed Speed Racer quite a bit. I will probably give this a shot, but go in with low expectations.
