Amazon notes that it's the R-rated version, but it's been confirmed elsewhere that it's the uncut one.

I'd buy that for a dollar. But it looks like it'll be $14.99. So I'll buy it for $14.99 instead.

Nice! Hope this has the original sound mix: the 5.1 remixes found on all of the post-Criterion DVD releases of this film drown out the music with some of the sound effects, in my view.

EDIT: I see that the current US Blu-ray contains a 4-channel surround mix as well as the 5.1 track. (The UK disc only has the 5.1 mix.)

I've never gotten around to buying ROBOCOP, so maybe now it'll be time. Just like that new TERMINATOR bd, never bought the movie until it was released not too long ago.

            I'll take it.

Now how about the rest of Verhoeven's films.

              Yeah.

I'd love to see some nice BD's of more obscure stuff like SOLDIER OF ORANGE and THE FOURTH MAN.

Right on...hope to see the more obscure stuff, too. I'll never part with the set Anchor Bay put out of his Dutch works.

That last MGM remaster is going to be tough to beat.

Yup. I won't be buying that one again. I'm perfectly happy with the MGM disc that cost me under 10 bucks.

Yeah, it is one of my favorite movies and I'm less than enthusiastic about Arrow wasting time/resources on this.

This is a mystifying announcement. Not one I see myself buying. And I'm not ready for uhd yet. If ever.
