Nothing about The Devils being held hostage makes a damn lick of sense.

THE DEVILS is pretty much the victim of a personal vendetta and internal politics, as I understand.

I'm looking forward to getting my mitts on that there Criterion FEMALE TROUBLE Blu-ray. Will have to wait for a slight dip in price though, I think.

        Curious disconnect there.
I had the exact same thought.

Religious groups probably won't complain about shit eating.

Wish Criterion was breaking off Pink Flamingos rather than Warner. Is Desperate Living slated for release? Hopefully that one ends up being Criterion.

Interesting article about working on Female Trouble on Criterion's page:

That is excellent news if they've got the uncut version.

What's this? I've never heard of an uncut version. Please tell me there's an R-rated version, because I've always found that this one plays it too safe.
Why would anybody watch a scum show like Videodrome? Why did you watch it, Max?

The uncut version is the most commonly found DVD of Crybaby. I just mostly remember there being like 2 new scenes and a few scenes got extended.

Yeah, not really an R version, just a few extra bits, unless there's a version i don't know about. The DVD is the extended, and the Blu is theatrical. I like having both. Best rockabilly musical ever.

That switched up for the blu-ray that was straight theatrical.

Uncut version is the way to go.
