    Van Damme and some aliens.

"Friends get together for a night out in a bar. Life is wonderful as a couple share their proposal moment. When, suddenly strange things start to happen. Loss of power. Throughout the city. No phones, no lights, just darkness as the friends try to cope. Then an invasion from UFOs, big ones! The sky is darkened by the ships of the alien invaders. The takeover of planet Earth has begun as our the five friends struggle to survive amid the chaos and calamity. Will love survive the terror?"

Fuck yeah, I would watch this.

How did the cover of HANCOCK get on there??

Seriously though, ANY new VAN DAMME is a cause for celebration in my house!!

Time to get the beer in, sit back and be entertained for 90+ minutes...

Comes out December 17 on disc, according to amazon.

No relation to the 2009 film of the same title and its sequels, I gather:

if the titled sold one movie a few years ago let's use it again to sell another.

Van Damme needs to stop with the cameos and get back to headlining.

              Already out in Europe?

Didn't twig that it is only a cameo from Van Damme...Still, for an addict a fix is a fix right?....Doesn't matter how small!

                Right.

                Does it matter how small?

                Yes.

Van Damme is in danger of turning into Christopher Lee. Lee has specialized in doing a day's work in films for over 30 years now. Two or three scenes and that's it. Or less. When the film ends I'm a little disappointed in it because there wasn't more of Lee. His scenes are what I enjoy the most. Right?

                  Good comparison.

I'm thinking both guys are a victim of their own limited success. Too expensive for the little guys for a whole movie and not enough interest from the big studios for anything but a cameo. These little bits might keep some fans happy but in the long run they aren't producing anything worthwhile.

When your biggest selling point is five minutes of Van Damme then your movie probably stinks. Life's too short to waste time on that kinda nonsense.

And I say all that while still really liking the last UNIVERSAL SOLDIER, but it would have been a much, much stronger movie with more Dolph and more Van Damme. The screen lights up whenever either of them appear. Scott Adkins is a total dud.

More of Van Damme. More Dolph. Less everybody else. That easy to remember, isn't it?

Scott Adkins is okay but he won't cut it in the long run, no matter how much Van Damme tries to sell him in the supplements.

John Carradine would be an even better comparaison.
