After Season 3 of Twin Peaks, I recall chatter about a possible Season 4. So I guess that's off the table now?

I was a cigarette smoker for a little over a decade. Sort of a "social" smoker at first, like just at parties when I was drinking, but then became a heavy chain smoker. I finally quit for good (and subsequently gained weight) about 15 years ago. My lungs are certainly better now then they were, but I can still feel the negative effects. Worst of all, I can't handle smoking or even vaping cannabis anymore, and now it's legal in my state. My throat and lungs start to seriously hurt. So I gotta limit my intake to edibles :(

Happily he has jumped online to clarify that he will never retire.

Can't say I blame him, a friend of mine had emphysema and Covid finished him off. Maybe he can take a leaf out of John Carpenter's book and direct from home (I think Carpenter's condition is called laziness).

Well this is extremely bad news, to say the least.

Hoping (unlikely though it may be, given his age) that either his condition improves, or he starts to feel a bit more optimistic about getting out and about at some point in future.

Director David Lynch Says He’s Likely Retiring, Can No Longer Leave House.

The 'Blue Velvet' director says he's probably retiring from directing due to being housebound with emphysema.

It's finally getting a proper theatrical release; in the next week or two.

Not sure I can do The Fabelman's but for the Lynch lover some kindly pirate has been good enough to upload this scene alone to Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iXApw6-UNxE I didn't expect John Ford to sound like David Lynch but when you have a look at old interviews with the man Lynch's take is not a million miles away. Watch John Ford show what an arsehole he is here for comparison: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kgM11NNX1Vw

Lynch shows up in THE FABELMANS, believe it or not. It's only one scene, but it's a great scene. Lynch giving Spielberg some cred, I love it.

    It was... interesting.
More video essay format than a standard talking head documentary, but there was some interesting takes on his work in it.

Lynch is hawking an NFT of a small collaboration he did with Interpol. I like Interpol and I like Lynch and I like the idea that they crossed paths at one point. Disappointing to see Lynch in the NFT game though.
