Funny and stupid and done on the cheap but for what it was, it was fun.
haha Sounds like an awesome premise.

    • They made a movie out of The Three Stooges. I've seen it twice now. Roadrunner's playing in the car that dumps the duffelbag of babies at the beginning, so the Farrelly's don't lose any Jonathan Richman credit. No children cried out in fear during this showing. I laughed at Larry David as Sister Mary-Mengele and the end-credit PSA. And even though the people behind me got the biggest kick out of a Kardashian joke, I can imagine kids checking out the shorts because of this. Morons and waste-of-DNA kids, mostly, sure, but still, fresh eyeballs. Try this at home.

Followed up with The Vampire (aka It's Always Darkest Before The Dawn) which was fun, albeit very, very goofy.
What company put out "The Story of Rock N Roll Comics"? I use to get issues of it and Hard Rock comics years ago. And remember at one time some of those issues were commanding a pretty high price. Wasn't there a planned issue on Skid Row that never came out cause of some lawsuit?

I need to watch that. I've been hearing about it for years. Do we have it? I guess you wouldn't know that, would you?

            • We do have it.

Newt, The RnR Comics documentary was put out by Wild Eye, distributed through MVD. I'll have a full review up this week but if you are even a casual fan or have an interest in Revolutionary's output, get it.

              • Alison, good news, the answer is yes.

JUDGEMENT NIGHT (Stephen Hopkins, 1993). Wrong-exit remake of the Galileo 7 episode from Star Trek with Emilio Estevez as Spock, and the aliens are Denis Leary. Cuba Gooding Jr. plays Boma McCoy. The opening titles with De La Soul/Teenage Fanclub Fallin' through neatly-raked leaves in the autumn gloaming are the best part of the movie. And Peter Greene's a standout, I'll have to keep an eye out for him. B+, but I can't give it 8/10, left an odd taste of greenbacks in my throat.

                      • Tropic Of Cancer - wacky Giallo with Tinti, Steffan and Stringberg. Lots of naked black guys, some cool murders, and a moustache that will not burn all set to an unusually happy soundtrack. Thank you, Camera Obscura, for bringing this to the region free masses.
