Thanks. I'll have to pick this up. I like watching live dvds when I'm drunk.

Thanks for reminding me that I've been meaning to see this for years! I see the UK DVD is going out on Amazon UK for a fiver, so I'll pick it up next UK order. ;)

      • Straw Dogs - this movie is still awesome. No matter how many times I see it I still pick up on something I didn't notice before for whatever reason. Seeing it in HD is a treat, MGM's transfer is spiffy.

Followed it up with Airwolf: The Movie in which Jan Michael Vincent plays a cello on a dock with his dog while American Eagles fly overhead. Later he and Ernest Borgnine team up to get the helicopter that gave the movie its title back from... Gaddafi and David Hemmings. Awesome.

        • DOGS IN SPACE (the final movie in the STRAW DOGS/AIRWOLF trilogy). True story of the origins of The Wiggles. I liked it.

          • Dressed To Kill - this one still holds up, the last half of the movie is great after a fairly pedestrian start.

Breathe - Kim Ki Duk's bizarre psuedo romance was, like so many of his movies, beautiful and horrible and funny and sad all at the same time. I look forward to digging into the supplements on this one this weekend.

            • Revenge Of the Living Dead Girls: Finally finished watching it. I can't help but half-recommend it to anyone into the great Italo Zombie flicks because of it's similarities. What kills it is the pacing. It feels like a half hour goes by before something interesting happens. The ladies are very attractive. Plus it does feature a really fucked up scene of a chick being raped by zombie women.

              • The Great Rock N Roll Swindle - it still doesn't make any sense but it's fun and the more Tenpole Tudor on DVD the better.

                • Bridesmaids - funny enough but I didn't bust a gut like so many other people claim to have. Plenty entertaining but a bit on the long side at just over two hours.

                  • TV Show Louie: Great stuff! I'm at episode 3 and I'd recommend it. It's kind of like a realistic version of Seinfeld. Louis C.K is a brilliant comic on top of that.

                    • Demolition Man - This movie will never not be fun and it's even more fun with lossless audio. Can't beat the Blu-ray at $10.

                      • WTF? I just watched Demolition Man a few hours ago. Probably my favorite Stallone, 2nd favorite is Rambo 4.

                        • I only saw Demolition Man once, ages ago. Maybe I should revisit it.

                          • It's about the biggest, dumbest, funnest movie you can see, gratuitous Taco Bell product placement and Sandra Bullock notwithstanding. MURDERDEATHKILL!

                            • I've seen that flick at least 100 times. Still fun. Plus I'd catch it while growing up whenever it was on one of the movie channels because of the random titty shot.
