The very epitome of the scene stealing character actor. Equally great at menace and comedy. Blood Simple would not be the masterpiece that it is without him. RIP.

He was in one of my favourite "Tales from the Crypt" episodes too. It was the one where he started using his wife's pets to practice his newfound taxidermy hobby.

It's hard to believe that Adult Swim Canada actually aired that at one time. Now that channel is just pathetic, an endless loop of Family Guy and Bob's Burgers reruns.
