Actress MARLENE CLARK passed away this week, her Ganja in GANJA & HESS has a special mystical appeal. The luminous Clark also appeared in SWITCHBLADE SISTERS, THE BEAST MUST DIE, ENTER THE DRAGON and had a recurring role on Sanford & Son. RIP.

More sad news.

Marlene Clark always had great screen presence, though I wish she could have picked up more/better roles back in the day. She absolutely rules in 'Switchblade Sisters', her performance in 'Ganja & Hess' is remarkable, and.... she really makes an impression in 'Night of the Cobra Woman', even though the film is otherwise pretty terrible.
