This films looks bad. If the trailer represents the best bits, then it's very bad indeed.
I'm bitter, I'm twisted, James Joyce is fucking my sister.

I saw it last weekend. I loved it and it will probably end being my favourite new movie this year. It's for people who like big, unwieldy rubber-reality epics such as REFLECTIONS OF EVIL and SYNECDOCHE, NEW YORK. It's just bursting with inspiration. Parker Posey has a great nude scene. Also, giant penis monster.
Why would anybody watch a scum show like Videodrome? Why did you watch it, Max?

I coincidentally finished quake by Rudolph Wurlitzer the morning before a matinee showing. Some Very similar aspects shared between it and beau. Kinda distracted me a little to be honest.

It's a fucked-up, sprawling, overly excessive, self-indulgent epic non-epic that is thoroughly pissing off the A24/independent film crowd. Plus it has a giant penis monster.

I liked it a lot even though I didn't really like it -- meaning it's something I really sort of love.

this might be the first movie I dozed off while watching, but still ends up in my top 10 for the year. the part in his apartment where he's desperately trying to get a bottle of water was fucking genius.
overall way better than midsommar, watch it!
