  • Anyone maintain fun Letterboxd lists?

I've been spending a while recenty scrolling through Letterboxd. There's some fun stuff on there. A while back I was inspired to do a list for all the movies I remembered watching on Des Mangan's Cult Movie show which used to play late night on one of Australia's public broadcasters. I used to sit up late as a young fella waiting for this every week. Regualrly saw amazing stuff on that and if I trace it back it really was my introduction to a lot of the cinema I obsess over now. He screened the first giallo I ever saw in Orgasmo. My first Franco's with Vampyros Lesbos and She Killed In Ecstasy (the copies he screened were the ones used for the Synapse transfers back in the day). So much great stuff. The Babycart films, Dellamorte Dellamore, most of Jean Rollin, The Seventh Curse, The Great Silence, Blood And Black Lace. 'twas an amazing time to be a film fan when you could tune in every week and be shown something amazing you'd never heard of. The list of all the ones I can remember are here: https://letterboxd.com/domdeacon/lis...s-cult-movies/

You got any fun Letterboxd's with a story?

I have a copy of almost all of these, but I don't drink much Scotch.

Ive got this wierd obsession that one day I want to look at a list and have seen every film on it. Its never happened. It doesn't matter how well I know a subject I'm always one or two films off. I thought this list was finally the one. But no! Damn it! One film. One goddamn film.
