An engrossingly intimate low budget indie documentary about a tough, amiably charismatic 55-year-old East End fight promoter who trains royally hard for his one and only cage fight, Stoically facing a fierce, hard-hitting opponent half his age! The main fella Alan is a remarkably courageous, earnest, surprisingly soft-spoken, altogether likeable pugilist, and his uncommonly arduous 18 month journey to his fateful fight proved entirely fascinating to me! An entertainingly candid, frequently emotional, and rather more thought-provoking documentary than you might initially imagine.????
