Just had a look at his credits. He did a lot of films, but I've only seen a handful. Goodfellas is enough to bestow legendary status though.

He pops up in a lot of good 70s films in character roles and of course is amazing in Goodfellas. A good later role is his performance as Kissinger in Stone's Nixon.

He ran a dog rescue service called Dogfellas, haha. Terrible name, but running a dog service says something about your character I think.

Why wouldn't he call it The Dogfather or something?
