  • Sam Fuller on DVD from MoC!

Eureka are releasing Sam Fuller's PARK ROW on BD (edit: it's DVD only. Sorry. Mistype. Any way of editing the thread title?) in October! I'm really excited about this. (Sad, I know, but what can you do?)

Apologies if this is old news, but it's the first I've heard about it.

Got me all excited for a minute! DVD is nice but seeing that in HD would be great.
    Rock! Shock! Pop!

I live in hope of the day that Sam Fuller movies work their way onto BD. It'd be nice if Criterion could get there first with WHITE DOG.

But a 'proper' DVD of PARK ROW is a great step forward for Fuller's movies :) Let's hope RUN OF THE ARROW or some of the other Fuller pics missing on DVD (eg, CHINA GATE) are not too far behind.

Actually there are already two Sam Fuller Bd's from Criterion: Naked Kiss and Shock Corridor.

        Unless I'm confused.

Of course there are, and I own them both How could I forget? I bought my region A-friendly BD player for those two discs and a handful of Criterion's other BD titles (L'ARMEE DES OMBRES, NIGHT OF THE HUNTER, PATHS OF GLORY and THE KILLING). I guess I sometimes forget about region A titles, because they're 'verboten' over here and region free BD players are fairly hard to come by - so they don't get much press or discussion. But WHITE DOG would be nice, and it would be just as nice to see some of the unreleased-on-DVD films get an airing.

PARK ROW is one of the few Fuller films I haven't seen yet, heard very good thing though.
