    [Trigger warning: violence against physical media]

    For cheapasses and/or digital ephemera enjoyers of Roland Klick's DEADLOCK, the English dub is currently $1.99 on Canadian itunes. Not sure about pricing in other regions. Also a toonie: the documentary ROLAND KLICK: THE HEART IS A HUNGRY HUNTER (German, with English subs).

    In case anyone's interested, 88 Films' UK site has a sale on until the end of the month;
    https://88-films.myshopify.com/

    Basically, 30% off any order over £45 with the code BUMS.

    I took advantage of this to pick up their releases of 'Whip and the Body' and 'Zeder' for a slightly less extortionate price than usual, given that they seem unlikely to sell out and get repressed as standard editions any time soon.

    Due to shipping and what not, really only a good deal for those in the US, but Criterion's flash sale has started.

    Makeflix.com is having a decent sale through the 16th (I think). They have a lot of stuff that isn't in my wheelhouse, but what is was priced cheap.

    In case anyone's interested, 88 Films currently have a sale on (tho they don't seem to have publicised it on the site itself):

    33% off any order over £25 with the code 88NIGHTSIN, basically.

    Not exactly a return to their £6-a-pop glory days, but definitely worth taking advantage of, given how rarely their stuff's dipped in price over the past few years.

    Arrow Video's Shocktober sale is still on.

    Actually ended up going with a single disc UHD release of True Romance, because I ordered 3 and it was flat rate 8 pound shipping; in Canadia, ended up being about 25 dollars CAD / disc; a fair shake better than 40 plus tax plus shipping from Obstructed View.

    Seeing the last 2 posts reminded me that I’m still waiting for one of my free movie selections from their 4/20 Full Moon Features promo.

    Thankfully I never bought anything from them.

    Never mind. The prices they originally had listed must have been a mistake and went from $3 to $10.
