  • Movies That Never Get Old...

You can watch them time and time again. For me, it's the original Halloween.

The Good, The Bad And The Ugly - I always find something new to like about it each time I see it, and I have to have seen it at least thirty times at this point in my life. It might be the score, it might be a subtle bit of camera work, it might be a character trait I never noticed before - those are just a couple of examples off the top of my head, but I always find something interesting about it that I didn't notice before.

I agree with lots in here. For me, Taxi Driver, Apocalypse Now, The Outsiders.

Taxi Driver is a damn fine choice.

It's the one I've hear since I was a 14 years old kid
Never listen the original english version even if it is on the DVD (it's the same with The Flinstone TV serie too).

Huh. Never watched the French dub of the Flintstones (I think different voices would weird me out), but i may have to try the french dub of Slap Shot. :-D

Taxi Driver, yeah, good call on that one.

I think I could watch Things and Miami Connection over and over again because I find them endlessly hilarious but if I did that I'd probably have a brain aneurysm.

The Shining, To Live And Die In L.A., The Thing (Carpenter), Evil Dead 2.

And many of the ones already mentioned.

The Shining is definitely another one. Love the atmosphere in that.

I'd put Clockwork Orange over The Shining in terms of rewatchability. Not to take away from The Shining, but for me Clockwork packs a harder punch, it still sort of jolts me when I watch it whereas The Shining, which as stated is plenty creepy and amazingly atmospheric, doesn't freak me out like it used to.
