  • Famous People like movies too

Don't really care about famous people all that much, but I sure do love movies, and I'm always kinda curious what celebrities think are good films. Actors and directors are often asked this question when interviewed, so it shouldn't be too hard to find this kinda info. A lot of times what they pick confirms for me that they are an idiot, and other times I'm happily surprised. Here are some I found:

    Tiger Woods: CaddyShack
    Michael Caine: The Third Man
    Stephen Merchant: The Apartment
    Michael Jackson: ET
    Mick Jagger: Apocalypse Now
Morrisey: Saturday Night, Sunday Morning (1960)
    Christian Bale: Beverly Hills Ninja
    Julianne Moore: Rosemary's Baby
    Stephen King: Tourist Trap (1979)
    Tony Blair: Rush Hour
Tom Hanks: 2001: A Space Oddessy
    Jonah Hill: Goodfellas
Cameron Diaz: Tie -- Animal House and Fast Times at Ridgemont High
    Juliette Lewis: What About Bob?
George W Bush: Field Of Dreams
Kurt Cobain: Over the Edge (1979)
    Natalie Portman: Dirty Dancing
    Rihanna: Napoleon Dynamite
Jason Bateman: There Will Be Blood
Sarah Silverman: Sleeping With The Enemy
    Taylor Lautner: Man On Fire
Nicole Kidman: Gone With the Wind
Molly Ringwald: Pretty in Pink (which she stars in!)
Anna Faris: Overboard (yes, the one with Kurt Russel and Goldie Hawn)
Morgan Freeman: King Kong (the original)
    Lady Gaga: ROCKY (the original)
Kanye West: Coming To America (which coincidentally, I just watched tonight for the first time in 20 years. It was fun to revisit!)

If you know any more, list em.

That was the first thing I thought. haha.

Kim Jong Il is apparantly a big fan of Friday the 13th and Rambo and anything with Elizabeth Taylor in it.

haha Awesome. I didn't really like Beverly Hills Ninja. I should revisit it. Tommy Boy is awesome and all, but Black Sheep's where my Farley Fun Bucks lie.
                  Huh?

                    Had to be done.

PS: I do remember Sly Stallone being a fan of the head explosion in The Beyond.

I think I remember a CNN bit where they said George W. Bush's favorite movie was Blackhawk Down.

On a sidenote: Am I the only one who likes actors more after they have been caught being douches? Like Bale with the DP and Russel Crowe with the hitting hotel employee with a phone in the head? It makes them feel more human or something.

Don't know if I like them better, but at least people know what they're actually like after these incidents. Bale, I think, apologized, and Crowe has yet to. Both are snapperheads.
