I thought you were actually gonna rip off your shirt and flex and am very sad that you didn't.
On the other hand, I'm glad to see you're almost as grey as I am.

Dead mouse. Died in a spot where we could not get at it, and it stunk up the whole store for a week -- to the point where I witnessed customers come in, take a sniff, turn on their heel, and walk right back the fuck out.
Then they brought in this horrible deodorizer that made it even WORSE. Then it just smelled like death and sweetness mixed.

I would love to support a indy store. But in the shithole I live in the nearest video store is a damn Blockbuster. Unless I want to drive almost 2 hours there is no other choice. That is the reason I have pretty much been using Netflix for the past 4 years.

Also, hilariously, look who is on the cover of the entertainment paper in Vancouver this week:
My co-worker (and co-star in those videos up there): BJ! Look at him, stone cold pimpin' the VHS! ALL RIGHT BJ!

You know what, I actually thought of Pig fucking movie, but we didn't have a copy to stick in there. Great minds think alike, eh Alex? ^_^

Great video! Really liked it. I didn't recognize the titles they picked up, but I thought it was hilarious that Irreversible was on that shelf. Me personally I would've recommended them Wedding Trough/Pig Fucking Movie. Failing that then Sexual Emotions of a Donkey.

We have one or two left, but I won't go into the "city" unless I have to. Parking sucks. They've been there a long time and was where I first started watching Something Weird stuff in college.

Sorry to hear about the job loss, that sucks. That looks like it was a rad store, with or without underwear counter dancing (bonus points for Tinto Brass product placement!).
There aren't any local video stores left in our area to support, unless you count Blockbuster, and fuck those guys. The last indy one in Jackson Heights closed last year.
