We went to a friend's house last night for dinner and drinks.

He suggested we watch this movie.

So we did. Here are some highlights.

This movie was not good but it was kind of mesmerizing in a way. Much of the running time was padded with footage of the guy in the cat suit hanging out at a parade BUT at one point Cool Cat and his dad 'rock out' in their living room and the dad shows off his guitar autographed by Van Halen.

Also Eric Estrada and Vivica A. Fox show up in this, Estrada likely drunk.

At another point, Cool Cat finds a gun in his backyard. It winds up in the hands of a bully who takes it to school and is going to shoot his enemies.

This movie is pretty fucked up.

For some reason Cool Cat's dad is human but his mom is a cat, so that's weird too. His dad fucked a cat.

Haha, this was nuts. Cool Cat's tail made me uncomfortable. I missed the ending when I went to the bathroom. I don't think it matters though.

Yeah but Rothrock wasn't in the first one (unless she showed up while I was getting beer from the kitchen) so there's got to be a bit more to it than just the obviously recycled footage.

The guy started out as a male stripper and posed in Play Girl. He wrote a couple of other books geared towards adults before doing the Cool Cat books.

He most recently tried to get a Cool Cat Stops a School Shooting movie started (seriously) but he couldn't get funding for it.

I saw on his website that he wrote a novel about a male stripper. Also noticed that he did some modelling as well.

He also seems to practice martial arts in his backyard quite often.

There's a lot to unpack here.

He's also very litigious over people who review Cool Cat on Youtube. Apparently he's fine with the Your Movie Sucks My Dick guy taking the piss out of his movie:

The guy's channel got banned by Youtube because he made fun of Elliot Rodger. No, seriously.

I also saw on twitter that he got into it with a Huffington Post reporter and tried to bring Trump into the fight on his side, which was... interesting and unexpected.
