The BBC is reporting that Dudley Sutton has apparently passed away.
The BBFC is foregrounding Sutton's role as Tinker in the series LOVEJOY but, an excellent actor, Sutton had a varied career in some interesting films - including a number of Ken Russell's films - notably, THE DEVILS (1972) and VALENTINO - Robert Parrish's A TOWN CALLED BASTARD (1971) and Al Viola's MR FORBUSH AND THE PENGUINS (1972). He was also in some memorable television roles in series such as THE SWEENEY, Z CARS and THE BEIDERBECKE AFFAIR.
