At least it wasn't Trainspotting 2. I'd take an overdose of smack just to get the hell out of there.
I'm bitter, I'm twisted, James Joyce is fucking my sister.
UK releases for March 2024:
The Roaring Twenties (UHD/Blu-ray & Blu-ray only editions)
Dazed and Confused (UHD/Blu-ray) (Blu-ray only edition was previously released.)
Well, I'm aggravated right now. I finally got around to trying to watch that Criterion Blu-Ray set with Freaks, The Unknown, and The Mystic, but for whatever reason, the discs won't load. I put both of them in my player, it goes to the black screen, but instead of the Criterion Collection logo appearing in the upper left-hand corner, nothing happens. It just sits there and never loads. Since I have a region-free Blu-Ray player, I thought I might've had it on the wrong Region, as I watched a Region B disc the other night, but no, the region coding is correct. And just to make sure it wasn't the player, I put in another Criterion disc that came out last year and it loaded perfectly. So, I don't know what the problem is. Has anyone else had issues with that release?

I got it for Christmas and watched it a few weeks ago with no problems. I've got a Region Free Sony UHD player for whatever that's worth.
