NIGHTMARE ALLEY, Hell yes! Can't wait for this one. Still pretty unsettling and grim. I haven't seen MERRILY WE GO TO HELL but it sounds interesting - one of the earlier studies of the impacts of alcoholism. And Sylvia Sidney is always terrific, she really shines in these sorts of roles (she marries March knowing he has a drinking problem).I don't go to church. Kneeling bags my nylons.Comment

Someone that seems to work for Crowe's company posts on the Blu-ray forums and he said thatPSS. This is Amy's preferred version of the film which means it has one slight change...the reframing of Mike Damone (Robert Romanus) during the pool house scene. This was the shot that initially got Fast Times an X rating by the MPAA...it's back in all its glory for this release.Comment

So the guy that works for Cameron Crowe posted at the Blu-ray forum again and said that this will not have the original mono because Universal can't find it. Missing sound effects will be reinstated.
On the plus side, the television cut is from a new HD scan of an IP.Comment
