First movie is Tourist Trap which is not a favorite of mine. I guess either Joe Bob likes this one or they didn't have the rights to Bay of Blood or Black Christmas because Joe Bob said that Tourist Trap was one of the first slashers even though it came after the two movies I mentioned. It even came out after Halloween. That or he's getting old."Ah! By god's balls what licentiousness!"

It is still down. This is what I get for turning away I guess? Because I find Tourist Trap to be insufferably boring. It looks like they're showing Sleepaway Camp and I'm trying to get in but no dice.
On the plus side they're going to offer the movies with the Joe Bob segments next week on Shudder and on other sites like Amazon and Youtube.
Edit: GOT IN! 40 minutes into the movie but hey, I'm not closing it again! Not even if it's Joel Reed's Night of the Zombies or Bela Lugosi Meets a Brooklyn Gorilla.

I am liking this so far but I'm going to be that guy and I can see why this is the last time Joe Bob/John Bloom is doing this. Because his timing just isn't there like before. A lot of "Uhm's" and pregnant pauses. But the guy is 65 so he gets a pass. It would also explain why he doesn't do commentaries any more. :("Ah! By god's balls what licentiousness!"

It's all been in good fun. All the movies in the marathon have been trending on Twitter. Weirdly, Joe Bob lists 12 Hellraiser sequels including fan films (?) and a video game (???). I'd hate to break it to him but there's never been a Hellraiser video game. There have been at least two attempts on the original NES using custom hardware by a company that makes unlicensed games. And a game that reached some point in development on the original Playstation that was never completed."Ah! By god's balls what licentiousness!"

Unfortunately a power outage happened in our neck of the woods and I couldn't finish the marathon. I only missed a few entries like Daughter of Darkness, Blood Feast, Re-Animator (I'm not a huge fan of that one and prefer From Beyond more), The Legend of Boggy Creek (also not a big fan) and the coupe de gras: Pieces. :(
