I loved the video game as a kid, still do as an adult.

    Not sure about this though.

"Global megastar Dwayne Johnson headlines the action adventure “Rampage,” directed by Brad Peyton.

Primatologist Davis Okoye (Johnson), a man who keeps people at a distance, shares an unshakable bond with George, the extraordinarily intelligent, silverback gorilla who has been in his care since birth. But a rogue genetic experiment gone awry mutates this gentle ape into a raging creature of enormous size. To make matters worse, it's soon discovered there are other similarly altered animals. As these newly created alpha predators tear across North America, destroying everything in their path, Okoye teams with a discredited genetic engineer to secure an antidote, fighting his way through an ever-changing battlefield, not only to halt a global catastrophe but to save the fearsome creature that was once his friend.

“Rampage” also stars Oscar nominee Naomie Harris (“Moonlight”), Malin Akerman (TV's “Billions”), Jake Lacy (TV's “Girls”), Joe Manganiello (TV's “True Blood”) and Jeffrey Dean Morgan (TV's “The Walking Dead”); as well as P.J. Byrne (“The Wolf of Wall Street”), Marley Shelton (“Solace”), Breanne Hill (“San Andreas”), Jack Quaid (“The Hunger Games: Catching Fire”), and Matt Gerald (TV's “Daredevil”). "

Does the Rock only try to make the crappiest movies possible?

My thoughts exactly!! I was really hoping this was about Kino not only releasing the 1992 cut but the original 1987 version as well.

Uwe Boll's masterpiece that's for sure. Not so much the sequels.

                  Agreed.

On topic, Dwayne "The Rock" really needs to stop doing these fucking turd movies. Or maybe not. Apparently they have an audicence.

When this and the Jumanji reboot/whateveritis flops then he'll be back to making a Tooth Fairy 2... Not unless there's another dozen Fast and Furious movies for him to be in.

Doesn't he executive produce most of this garbage now? I believe he's also trying to executive produce that Fast and the Furious spinoff he wants to do with his character. Tyrese is mad at him about it.

He executive produces the tv show BALLERS too. I hate to say it but I've watched a couple episodes via osmosis and I like it. It stars Denzel Washington's son. Not something I'd necessarily seek out but better than his video game movies. And I hate football.

What I'm curious about is how these flops will affect his career. The Baywatch movie flopped and this and Jumanji will most likely flop (China is not going to save either of these movies). 3 Strikes and you're out.

I reckon Jumanji could be a hit. Does it have Boxing Day compettion? And even if all those flops come to pass there will always be another Fast and Furious and those things make more than Jesus. And the apostles.

It's coming out 5 days after Star Wars. It's dead.
