This looks like a backyard youtube fan film. It looks like that zero budget Hellraiser sequel shot in someone's apartment. Holy hell. I've never seen any of the Hellboy movies. Like a lot of superhero flicks the appeal is lost on me once you remove the comicbooky visuals and stylized art. Mignola's art is the biggest draw, imo, and without that it just doesn't work for me. This looks like some weekend Renn Faire crap.

Looks like this is barely getting a theatrical release in the UK. It's out this week, but nowhere near me has it playing. I'll pick up the UHD (not exactly long to wait), but I'll probably be disappointed.
