  • RIP Jerry Lewis

    https://www.nytimes.com/2017/08/20/m...r.html?mcubz=0

I'm not the biggest fan but I enjoyed some of the Martin and Lewis films and have followed the saga of Day the Clown Cried.

Mostly knew him for The King of Comedy which is more painful to watch than Taxi Driver for me. However, he became my new hero after that excruciating interview he did last year! The man clearly did not give a fuck which instantly earned my respect.
I'm bitter, I'm twisted, James Joyce is fucking my sister.

I forgot about King of Comedy. That's a great Scorsese picture where (unexpectedly) Sandra Bernhard does a great job as well.

King of Comedy is really the only thing he's been in that I enjoyed. Still, RIP.

Loved THE LADIES MAN, THE DISORDERLY ORDERLY, WHO'S MINDING THE STORE?, IT'S ONLY MONEY. Most of his 60s stuff. RIP in peace.

Yeah, most of his 60s stuff is pretty classic and I don't care how overplayed it is, I love The Nutty Professor.

I just watched Visit To A Small Planet on Thursday night, and it cracked me up.
