  • Program my holiday viewing on the projector!

Alright. Here's the deal: bought myself a projector about a month ago, finally got a reasonable setup going down in my "media room", aka basement, and I have settings and stuff the way I want them for now. I also have the next week off work! Time to watch some flicks!

I need some recommendations for movie watching on the projector! Let's hear 'em! Double features, marathons...what are your picks for what I should check out on the big screen? I've just watched THE GREAT SILENCE and EDDIE AND THE CRUISERS, as well as Peckinpah's PAT GARRETT AND BILLY THE KID.

I'm thinking of having a Mondo Macabro marathon soon as well!

    Recommendations?

Vanishing Point makes a great double feature with Rolling Thunder or Two Lane Blacktop.

Cobra goes well with Death Wish.

    Rambo with Punisher War Zone.

Or triple feature it up and throw Tokyo Drifter into that mix.

Criterion should get those on Blu-ray.

Bloodsucking Pharaohs in Pittsburgh and Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers
